Description
Home to a fascinating collection of artefacts which show the way medicine and healthcare have developed over the past 300 years. There is plenty to see, including our collection of death masks, a reconstructed apothecary's shop and a 19th-century operating theatre. We also hold a fascinating collection of medical books, photographs and oral histories which are available to view by prior appointment.
Admission to the Museum is free and you can find us in the Charles Hastings Education Centre.
We take bookings for community groups, schools, FE and HE groups for tours, talks and workshops.
