Description
ROC Worcester was established after a meeting of some 200 people involved in community organisations in October 2021. Following on from this Conversation a Report was written by ROC HQ and a core team headed by Jerry Reakes-Williams was established to manage the day to day work of ROC Worcester. This team comprises Jerry, Steph Boyd and John Turner.
The Core team are guided by a Steering Group of church leaders from across the City.
As a result of this meeting and the Report reccomendations that followed, various Action Groups have been established as Isolation & Loneliness, and Youth.
The aim of ROC Worcester is to help connect organisations to meet community needs in the City of Worcester. This team are not developing new charities or organisations but rather helping to meld existing groups who are doing great work to try to achieve even better results and benefits to the Worcester City community.
