Description
Promoting, marketing and delivering volunteering to the community. Provide support, advice, information, training and policy develoment to the voluntary sector. Provide assistance as necessary to developing groups and networks. Co-ordinate the local voluntary sector network (VOW - Voluntary Organisations in Worcester) and help to organise the annual Volunteer Expo. Can also provide a range of 'back-office' support e.g. DBS checks, PAYE
Our aim is to promote the benefits of volunteering and provide individuals with one-to-one support, to enable everyone to find a suitable volunteering experience which is rewarding and FUN!
